About the Host

Brett DeFore is a Vice President and Financial Advisor with Morgan Keegan & Company in Franklin, TN. Brett advises individuals, families, corporations and foundations alike in all things related to investments. He is a source to newspapers, a public speaker, and author. His most recent book "Your Roadmap to Retirement: Solutions When You're Lost" provides a unique insight to retirees, and soon to be retirees, on steps they can take today to ensure they'll have enough money to live through retirement, especially when detours present themselves.

Brett's financial career began in 1987 in Chicago, IL. He and his family have been residents of Tennessee for more than 20 years and reside in Franklin, TN.

Brett has been married for more than twenty years to his lovely wife Karen. They have four children ranging in age from 18 - 8, with three girls and one boy. When he's not at work, you'll find him at the pool where all of his children have competed nationally in swimming.
